I’m Plamen Zhelyazkov.

I'm a systems and backend engineer with 15+ years of experience across infrastructure, software development, and business systems.

I got into computers in the 90s and never really stopped. That early curiosity turned into a long-term focus on understanding how systems work end-to-end - from infrastructure layers to business logic.

Over the years I've worked in retail, fintech, product companies, and agencies. I've built and maintained e-commerce platforms, internal tools, partner portals, and operational applications, while also working on Linux-based infrastructure for production environments. In fintech, I worked on backend systems for payment processing. In agency work, I delivered web applications using Symfony and Laravel. In consulting roles, I focused on bridging technical execution with real business needs.

What I consistently gravitate toward is practical engineering: systems that reduce friction, replace manual processes, and actually get used. I prefer environments where ownership is clear, systems matter, and engineering decisions are tied to real outcomes.
